As times goes by....

Another year over? Already??

You'd think that by now I'd be used to the fact that time flies, whether or not you are having fun, but somehow it always manages to catch me out.

New years never really mean much to me - after all, whenever something significant happens, its never on December 31st/January 1st - unless of course you're Billie Piper or due to give birth any day now! Thankfully (i think) I am neither.

Whilst I am strongly against having expectations (it sets you up for disappointment), there are somethings that should they work out, I'll be one happy bunny:

i)Work:
Job applications open in a week's time - i really hope i'll get a job thats right for me and that its in the region that i am currently in - i hate moving around.

ii)Life
Staying on the topic of moving around, I would really like to settle down - to find four walls and a roof (preferabaly with bay windows and a fireplace!) that I can call my own.
Also I need to start doing regular exercise and lose weight (i blame it on the yule log...and the mince pies...and the roasties...mmmhh).

iii)Relationships
Mind you own beeswax!

iv)Etcetera
I wanna - learn classical guitar
- take up painting again
- go to fancy cookery lessons (that don't cost the earth...so this might have to be put off for a few years!) and maybe even start a foodie blog!
- write a bestseller (stop laughing, or you'll fall off your chair....what did i tell you?)

And i'm sure i'll come up with a few more ideas. Not resolutions - after all, fate too has a part to play!
