Jobs - episode 4

Finally some news on the jobs front: I have been offered an interview!
Unfortunately not in the region I have lived and worked in for the last seven years. But beggars cannot be choosers.
They sent me an outline of the interview process - its like an examination: 5 stations - two clinical scenarios, one ethical, one data interpretation station and finally a portfolio station.
More news next week (when its over!)

But I have also won a nationally competitive bursary for the research I did at the start of my F2 year! Having never even come within spitting distance of any of the prizes at medical school (to be fair, I was barely aware of their existence), this is quite an achievement for me!

What a difference a week makes. Last week I was crying my sorry eyes out. This week I'm viewing events with detached mis-trust: at what price will these good things come?

Yup, I'm as cynical, if not more, with myself!
